| Dr. Colacci received her M.S. degree in Biology and Ph.D. in Applied Genetics from the University of Bologna, Italy and
has been awarded the title of European Biologist (EurBiol) by the European Biologists Registration Committee. After a
research training in Pharmacology at the National Research Council, Italy, she was tenured at the Institute for Cancer
Research, University of Bologna. She has been associated with National Institute for Cancer Research (IST) since 1989.
She currently serves as the Deputy Director of IST-Biotechnology Satellite Unit of Bologna as well as Chief of the
Laboratory of Mechanisms of Carcinogenesis and Anticarcinogenesis.
She is also an Adjunct Professor in the Postgraduate School of Applied Genetics, University of Bologna. She has acted as a member on the National Advisory Toxicology Committee, Italy, since 1993.
