| Dr. Silingardi received her M.S. degree in Biology from the University of Bologna and Ph.D.
in Biochemistry from University of Ferrara, Italy.
After an internship and fellowship in the Laboratory of Carcinogenesis and Anticarcinogenesis,
she completed her research training with Dr. Hiroshi Yamasaki at the International Agency for
Research on Cancer (IARC), Lyon, France. Then she moved as a Research Assistant to the National
Institute for Cancer Research (IST), joining the Laboratory of Carcinogenesis and
Anticarcinogenesis in 1993.
